Some shots make people stop and stare. It's normal to look through the coin-operated binoculars, but could be considered eccentric to take a picture of them. As I set up for this photo, I visualized a kid, his mother in tow, walking up and asking "Mommy, what is that man doing with his camera shoved up the quarter telescope?" Or a police officer, with a similar, but more sternly-phrased question.
